I love travel quotes – they always make me hungry for a new adventure. I flick through them on all of my social media and dream a little wider, a little bigger each and every time. Inevitably the wanderlust gets too strong and I start planning another adventure. To help me work out my priorities I go over this simple and very personal task every couple of months… this is how I always achieve my goals. Then when I have my next adventure planned, I flip back to my travel quotes to relive the excitement.
Sometimes, I like a quote to be realistic, one that points out that the life of travel isn’t the glamorous adventure that our Facebook and Instagram feed make it out to be. I like a little bit of grit in my travel meme
After years of using the internet as a procrastination tool, I have read nearly every popular travel quote there is. It’s an exciting day when one comes along that is new and interesting. The funny thing is that there is so much inspiration out there. Over the last year, I have collated and created some of my own travel quote memes, with the inspiration taken from the things I was reading, watching or listening to at the time. All of the photos are my own, taken on my adventures. I am planning on doing the same again this year, so head over to my Facebook Page and follow along as I will post my new creations weekly.
